This festive season, you can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of women and children escaping domestic and family abuse by supporting Biyani House.
There are two ways you can get involved:
Start a Christmas Fundraiser
Create your own fundraising page in just minutes at biyanihouse.supporterhub.net.au/fundraising/christmas
Whether you're a workplace, school, community group or social club, you can rally your community to help women and children find hope beyond violence. Host a Christmas morning tea, run a raffle, hold a gift-wrapping station or simply share your page online—every dollar raised helps transform lives.
Run a Gift Voucher Drive
If your team would rather give directly, consider collecting gift vouchers instead of gifts this year. When women transition from Biyani House into their own homes, gift vouchers help them buy the essentials—groceries, furniture, clothing, and even small comforts like cosmetics.
Stores like Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Big W, IKEA, Chemist Warehouse and Priceline all make a big difference. You can download helpful resources to get started and promote your drive below.
How to set up a gift voucher drive:
Download the Biyani House festive gift tags.
Gift tags can be hung on a tree, stuck on a notice board, hung as bunting… whatever helps your team get involved!
If you want to set up your own team fundraising page, visit bit.ly/FestiveBiyani to create your personalised page. You can add your page’s QR code to the festive tag template we have saved online.
Set up a location to collect the gift vouchers, and set a closing date!
Once you’ve finished your collection, send our team an email at info@biyanihouse.org.au, and drop them in the mail to our PO Box.
