Our Supporters
We are a community-led organisation. Our services are client-driven, and our work is only made possible through the support of amazing individuals and groups in our local community who donate and volunteer their time, money, and skills to help us assist women in need.
The support Biyani House has received from the local community has been inspirational; from the moment our Steering Committee began discussions around opening a women’s shelter in the area, to when we saw the first woman walk through our doors, the community has been with us every step of the way.
We will never be able to fully articulate our thanks for the local Canterbury-Bankstown community, or the wider community, for all that you have done to support Biyani House.
Thanks in particular go to the Women’s Community Shelter team, and the Board Members and Shelter staff of shelters across the WCS network, who have been so generous with their time and advice, not only during the planning of Biyani House, but also once operational.
Without this network of support we simply would not have been so well placed to start strong and aim higher every day.
